Huron Recreation

The City of Huron is proud to offer a variety of parks, recreational facilities, and community programs designed to enrich the lives of residents of all ages. Through a partnership with the Coalinga-Huron Recreation and Parks District (CHRPD)—which has served the communities of Huron and Coalinga since 1972—our city provides access to well-maintained parks, engaging activities, and special events that bring the community together.

Huron residents can enjoy Keenan Park and Chesnut Park, offering open green spaces for relaxation and outdoor activities. The Senior Citizen Center provides a welcoming space for older adults to connect and participate in programs Monday through Friday.

Additionally, local youth can benefit from organizations like the Boys & Girls Club of Fresno County – Huron and the Huron Aggies, which foster personal growth and community involvement.
